Hello friends, I'm trying to play thru Borderlands 2 on Steam without being spammed with invites or friends joining my game. I'm not anti-social, just want to enjoy the first run at my own pace and see all of the storyline. How can I appear offline? I saw an option in the Network Settings of the game for Offline. Set five years after the events of Borderlands, Handsome Jack, the game's main antagonist, has taken over the Hyperion corporation, has declared himself Dictator of Pandora, and stolen all of the credit for finding the Vault, going so far to claim responsibility for killing the Destroyer.

NOTE: FilterTool has been replaced by BLCMM, and FT is no longer the recommended application for working with Borderlands 2/TPS mods. Please head over to the BLCMM page and upgrade!

This Page is dedicated to the UCP Filter Tool by LightChaosman
for Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
Photoshop cs6 deutsche sprachdatei download games gratis.

The UCP Filter Tool can be used to:

  • Customise features of the patch.
  • Import mods.
  • Have profiles.
  • Organise Mods and subdivide features.
  • Edit and create mods.

LightChaosman has produced two demonstrations of the tool (as of 08.06.2017):

Mac Instructions are different: FilterTool Installation on OS X

Java Runtime Environment

This tool requires Java Runtime Environment
If you don't have it already:

  1. Go to Oracle's Site
  2. Check Accept License Agreement (Oracle Binary Code License Agreement for Java SE)
  3. Download the version that matches your operating system.
(if you're unsure what OS architecture you have (x64 or x86) then go with the x86 version)
  4. Run the exe or tar.gz that you downloaded, and follow prompts given.

If you do not want to install JRE, many features that this tool provides can be done manually

Installation

  1. Go to the Dropbox
  2. Click Download in the top right, and select Direct download
  3. Open the FilterTool 2.0.zip and extract FilterTool.jar and Patch.txt to either:
  • A folder somewhere on your computer
(may need to specify the location of Borderlands2.exe and BorderlandsPreSequel.exe)

  • Your Borderlands 2 Binaries Folder
    (usually SteamsteamappscommonBorderlands 2Binaries)

  • Your Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Binaries Folder
    (usually SteamsteamappscommonBorderlandsPreSequelBinaries)

If you wish to use the patch for TPS, replace Patch.txt with this Patch

  1. Open FilterTool.jar with Java(TM) Platform SE binary
(This was added to your context menu when you installed Java Runtime Environment)
Offline

Unlocking Console

On the first launch of the program:

  • A welcome message displays, outlining various features.
(To access again use Help>Show first time message)

  • A window appears where you can select actions to be performed, check all of them.
(To access again use Setup tools>Automatically hex-edit files and enable console)

  • For the games you have selected to hex edit, if you did not install the tool to either of your Binaries folders
A window will open for you to select Borderlands2.exe and/or BorderlandsPreSequel.exe on your computer.

  • The actions you have selected will be completed through a series of windows.
    (Hexedit BL2 -> Hexedit TPS -> ConsoleKey BL2 -> ConsoleKey TPS)

Setting a key for the console allows it to be opened.

  • The keys to choose from are Tilde and F6.
  • Tilde on the QWERTY (Standard) Keyboard is left of 1 and above TAB.

Hex editing the games allows the console to be used for mods since it

  • Removes the limitation that most commands will be said into chat.
  • Enables the set command to be used outside of offline mode.

Configuring Patch

  • This is the window that will now appear every time the tool is launched.

  • In this window, features of the patch can be disabled and enabled as you please.

  • When you're done, you can save the patch in File>Save patch or CTRL+S

  • If you wish, you can save the patch as another file in File>Save to file or CTRL+SHIFT+S

  • Or change the patch that is opened by default in File>Change default patch

  • Once you've saved your patch, to run it in the game open the console and type Exec then the filename of the patch you saved, by default, this is Patch.txt.

Importing Mods

  • Mods can be imported in Developer tools>Add single mod, and will be added to the patch.

  • A mod folder can be used to import mods in Developer tools>Import mods folder.
It will be created if it does not exist.

These mods can be checked and unchecked just as the features of the patch can be.
Some mods go better with particular mods, and not so good with others, yet you may still want to have them all.

  • You can create profiles to save different variants on the same patch in Profiles>New profile.

If mods conflict with each other, the mod that is loaded last will take priority over the area of conflict.
This can be controlled using structural edits from Developer tools>Enable structural edits.
You can now drag around categories to change the load order.
Create new categories and move them into other categories to better organise mods.

Unless the mod is made in such a way to be automatically categorised when imported it will not be configurable yet.
This can be added manually using content edits from Developer tools>Enable content edits.
If you open the folder from the mod you will see a list of all the lines of code;
you can create a new category using structural edits and move these lines of codes into toggleable categories.

Pros

Fun and Funny! Enormous variety of missions. Excellent graphics. No glitches whatsoever. If you're looking for hard-core mayhem, search elsewhere. This one is to be enjoyed without a knot in your stomach! Excellent concept, artistically executed!

Cons

Didn't find any. Again, it's a fun shooter with its peak moments but not for the blood-thirsty ones!

Summary

It's worth every cent of it. About time someone turned out such a genre!
